VicFun is Victoria's Homepage. In addition, it's BC's only multilingual web portal. Currently offered in English, German, Spanish and Japanese. Further, we're the only website in Victoria offering an online TV Guide, Movie Listings and Local Events Calendar.

The site was created to fill a much MUCH needed gap in Victoria's online content offerings. It seemed odd to us that a city of a quarter million people didn't have a local website offering local entertainment, tv, movie times and the like.

The second niche that this site fills is offering a multilingual city guide. Victoria is a tourist town. Our economy depends on it. Victoria currently welcomes 3.6 million overnight guests annually, generating over a billion dollars a year for our city. Despite this, there was very little quality online content that was accessible to these incoming visitors. We decided that something needed to be done. So we sat down and designed what has become Victoria's Homepage.

The site currently generates revenue from online advertising, site listing and membership fees.
